JM de Guzman, back on track! Ready to redeem what he once lost!

The multi-talented artist, JM De Guzman, is finally back on track!

The actor left the limelight for quite some time, leaving his fans the reason "health problems" for his hiatus.

Humans are humans. Mistakes are inevitable - unless one surrendered his life to the Lord.

JM has changed, for the better. He is now ready to resume his career which was cruelly interrupted by his mistakes and very prepared to take on what life has to give him. Be it good or bad.

"I would like to redeem myself. I feel better now. I think that what I have gone through will make me not just a better person but a better actor, too," he told the media.

"I really miss acting," admitted JM who has never been involved in any controversy nor subjected to nasty gossip because he has always been so protective of his private life, seldom talking even about his love life (he was romantically linked to a beautiful young actress with whom he shares initials). "In portraying different characters, I discover and learn more about myself. I’m in the business to act, although I understand that tsismis is part and parcel of the trade. I also miss my showbiz friends and those I have worked with."

Everyone where puzzled when the Best Actor awardee was replaced by Jericho Rosales in the MMFF 2015 movie, Walang Forever, which also stars Jennylyn Mercado.

Reports stated that De Guzman was dropped from the movie for his attitude problems, seemed like air got into his head.

In an exclusive interview with one of his home network's artist, JM admitted to have lost his self in illegal drugs but was able to redeem himself after asking his family to take him to rehabilitation.

I lost control."

He was asked what triggered his realizaton that he needs to be sent to the rehabilitation center, he said, "Mentally, hindi na ako makapag-isip ng diretso.

He also clarified that his ex-girlfriend Jessy Mendiola had nothing to do with his drug addiction but it was actually one of the many reasons why they broke up.

JM said the 15-month rehabilitation program helped him a lot  and gave him his new-found self.

Akala ko kaya ko lahat," he said.

JM de Guzman hopes to get another chance to star in another television series if he is ever given the opportunity.

Here is the message he wants everyone to hear.
