Leni Robredo Urges Public to Express Outrage Over Bulacan Drug Raids

Commission on Human Rights is now investigating the big-time operation in  Bulacan where 30 drug suspects were killed in the operation. President Duterte commended the PNP for successfully eliminating the drug  menace in the area.

"Yung namatay daw kanina sa Bulacan, 32, in a massive raid. Maganda 'yon. Makapatay lang tayo ng 32 a day, ok na yon", said President Duterte last Wednesday, August 16.

On the other hand, vice president Leni Robredo strongly condemned the action and urged to oublic to express outrage regarding the war on drugs operation.

Gabriella partylist also expressed dismay and disappointment over the incident.

Gabriela

"One of these days, kayong human rights, kayo ang iimbistigahan ko. If they are obstructing justice, you shoot them.", PDuterte sarcastically warned.

The Commission on Human Rights said that will continue to stand with their duty no matter how many warnings and threats they receive from Duterte.

According to CHR, whoever comes to them are welcome and ready to be helped as long as their human rights are violated. Though they respect the president's opinion, his statements causes CHR to look unavailing to the public.

The Amnesty International sees the operation as 'barbaric' and 'uncivilized' and reminded that the investigation for 'War on Drugs' should be addressed immediately.

"This shows clearly that there should be no further delay in establishing an internationally led investigation into 'War on Drugs' and the carnage currently taking place in the Philippines on a daily basis." said James Gomez, Amnesty International's Director for Southeast Asia and the Pacific.

MalacaƱang said, there will be a fair investigation on different operations on the province of Bulacan.

According to PNP, the suspects resisted and fought back and they were just pushed to take action. The guns, bullets and grenade recovered in  the operation will be used as evidence.

Do you think massive killings is right for the drug menace? Which side will you take, CHR or PDuterte? a
